OzManouche Festival

OzManouche is an annual festival dedicated to Gypsy Jazz. This years artists include The Date Brothers (IRE, NSW), Ultrafox(VIC), Harry Edwards Quartet (TAS), Sassafras Quartet (WA) and Cam Ford Quartet (QLD, NSW). Additionally, there will be a premiere performance by new all female gypsy swing band, Tilly Bébé led by Brisbane based singer, Pauline Maudy (Mzaza) with members drawn from around Australia.

This year's special guest performer is Dutch singer/guitarist Irene Ypenburg performing with an Australian version of her band: Irene's Gypsy Swing Band.

OzManouche Festival 2018 is dedicated to the memory of festival founder, guitarist and composer Ewan MacKenzie with a special tribute concert on Sunday 2nd December featuring a performance by the surviving members of his band, Swing Dynamique playing his original compositions followed by a guest set of Ewan's friends and musical comrades performing his favourite Django Reinhardt and gypsy jazz songs.
