From 12-19 October, more than 1000 athletes will converge on Brisbane to participate in the world's largest sporting event for elite athletes with intellectual impairment. Alongside the competition program is a full week of performances in the Queen Street Mall showcasing Brisbane arts and culture.

Sunday 13th October (12pm - 3pm)

Nadia Sunde
Nadia Sunde will be emceeing the Queen Street Mall stage for the whole event. She is a highly respected Queensland performing artist, former ABC radio presenter and professional emcee. She has performed as emcee for events such as the Commonwealth games Festival in 2018 for various music stages across the Gold Coast, and for the Launch of the Bleach Festival in 2019.

Karen Lee Roberts
Karen Lee Roberts and Jeff Usher began performing together in 2015. Their jazz and blues performances have taken them from Doo Bop Jazz bar to Parkside Retirement Home. Together they lend a sound that is music to your ears.

Brothers Calling
The Brothers Calling are a unique experience in Australian music. If you’re trying to imagine the Brothers Calling think Passenger meets Derek Trucks with the Australian story telling traits of Paul Kelly. The musical duo includes Ryan Gittoes who is an engaging front man and known for his dynamic vocal performances, and Ash Perrow who has the ability to draw an audience with his siren like slide on his guitar.

Monday 14th October (12pm - 3pm)

All Abilities Australia
All Abilities Australia was founded by three passionate teachers who are dedicated to forming genuine connections with people and assisting them towards their dancing goals. Their studio Saturday students have been working hard on their Hip-Hop and Jazz dances to be able to perform at the INAS Global Games.

Hotel Pantelone- The Musical
Brisbane based Blue Roo Theatre Company Inc. provides opportunities for people with a disability to become actively involved and engaged in the performing arts. Hotel Pantelone is a musical theatrical style performance and it is a celebration of sharing laughter, joy and highlighting the creativity and passion of artist with disabilities.

Belladiva
Now in their 9th year and following successful Queensland state tours, vocal quartet BellaDiva return to Brisbane to share re-imagined operatic classics and celebrate the world’s best songwriters. Their gorgeous combination of classical voices and angelic harmonies make the familiar new again with breathtaking modern interpretations of everything from Summertime to Blackbird.

Tuesday 15th October (12pm - 3pm)

Inside Outside Dance Ensemble
Inside Outside Dance is a dance school based in Brisbane for persons of all ages with different abilities. They work with young people with a disability, providing them with opportunities to learn a variety of dance styles and engage in performances and workshops. Their ambassador is international model Madeline Stuart, who is a great inspiration to their students.

Hotel Pantelone- The Musical

Laura Frank
Laura Frank is debuting in the Alt Country music scene with “Things I’d Rather Do” produced by ARIA award and Gold guitar winning, Jordan Power. She has finally accepted her country roots and is keen to pull you in with her tongue in cheek lyrics and powerful vocals. You will want to climb onboard the Frank train. #toottoot.

Wednesday 16th October (12pm - 3pm)

Emily Wurramara
Gathering partners with the INAS Global Games to present Emily Wurramara as part of the Gathering program. Emily Wurramara references her home of Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory through her music. Emily sings in both English and Anindilyakwa, the traditional language of her home where she grew up fishing, listening to stories of dreams and dolphins.

Brisbane City Gospel Choir.
The Brisbane City Gospel Choir is an internationally recognised group that has been featured on Channel Sevens Sunrise show, and was involved in the Megafest international Choir showcase in Dallas. The BCGC sound combines the richness of contemporary gospel music with an underlying musical taste spanning different contemporary styles, all in one, with rich harmonies.

Thursday 17th October (12pm - 3pm)

Chris Tamwoy
Gathering partners with the INAS Global Games to present Chris Tamwoy as part of the Gathering program on the Queen Street Mall stage. Chris Tamwoy celebrates the Torres Strait where he grew up and the musical influence that have shaped his style and creativity including his unique guitar playing style. He is joined by singer/songwriter Tania Rose, originally from Torres Strait Islands but resides in Brisbane.

Kooralbyn
Drawing on their personal cultures and unique artforms ‘Kooralbyn” features artists from across the globe including First Nation, Tibetan, Celtic and Northern European musicians. This unique collaboration includes compositions/songs from Tibet, Sweden, Holland, Britain and Australia and include musical traditions such as flamenco, jazz, First Nation, African, and classical.

Friday 18th October (12pm - 7.30pm)

Hope D
Hailing from Brisbane, alt pop-rock artist Hope D began writing and playing music at the early age of 9 years old. Weaving intricate lyrics into thoughtful and meaningful melodies, her brutally honest and raw lyrics tell the story of finally discovering who you are, yet being afraid to be your true self. Now with a passionate 4-piece band behind her, Hope D’s shows have become more engaging and energetic than ever.

The Outsiders
The Outsiders is an all-abilities group of musicians. They have built a strong profile over the last six years in the region and have just played at the Annual Maleny Music Festival. They were invited to pen the National Self Advocacy Anthem for the country’s self-advocates. The lyrics were compiled from self- advocates across Australia, and the Outsiders did the rest!
The Sunshine Troupe
The Sunshine Troupe has an outstanding profile in the Sunshine Coast and beyond and are highly respected across the wider arts and disability community. They are comprised of seven performers with Intellectual Disabilities and they provide a range of different styled performances from cabaret to dance, and one-act devised theatre and comedy.

East Of West
The East of West trio plays original music that primarily draws from the rich musical influences of the Balkans and the Mediterranean. The trio consisting of Goran Gajic, Philip Griffin, and Malindi Morris use their experience in jazz and Middle Eastern classical music forms to focus on creating beautiful story telling melodies spun over rich traditional rhythms.

The Singing Social- Yani Choirmistress
After 25 years +  facilitating group singing and choirs, Yani has combined all the great things about singing, mostly with the outcome of feeling that wonderful sense of belonging, lack of judgement, freedom, fun, skill and all in just a short time. With Yani's expert guidance and a bunch of fun games, The Singing Social is - getting to know people, learning easy harmonies, having a go, not worrying about how you sound, singing the songs you know and love, and enriching and connecting peoples lives through group singing. Good for the health, great for the nervous or shy singers and is above all FUN!
