 entury\, Argentine tango music and the tango dance tradition have spread t
 hroughout Latin America and beyond to become a world music phenomenon than
 ks to notable musicians and composers such as Astor Piazzolla.\nAmongst hi
 s many accolades\, Owen Salomé is one of the bandoneónists of the 16th ite
 ration of the 2 year ‘Orquesta Escuela Emilio Balcarce’ tango program in t
 he city of Buenos Aires: the first ever Australian to hold the position.\n
 The Brisbane Tango Orchestra (BTO) is an ensemble which Chloe Ann Williams
 on (Double Bassist and Artistic Director) started as a way to bring the th
 rilling repertoire written for tango orchestra to Queensland audiences.\nD
