Dreaming BIG concert 6 is celebrating the elegance, romance and fire of Beethoven and Dohnanyi. The spellbinding Aether String Trio is excited to bring their newest program Serenade to Eudlo. Known for their sparkling technique and virtuosic performance style, Australia’s Aether String Trio is Michele Walsh - Head of Strings Queensland Conservatorium of Music on violin, Patricia Pollett - Senior Associate Professor University of Queensland School of Music on viola and Louise King, Cello Dreaming.

This special chamber music concert features string trio music by Beethoven and Dohnanyi  - two great composers from the Romantic era. “The Beethoven Trio is refreshingly open, rich-sounding and in the key of G major, it’s very lyrical and so charming. The Dohnanyi - a cornerstone of the trio repertoire - is full of fire in comparison, it’s inspired by gypsy music and is full of Eastern European pathos and sentiment ” says Louise King cellist and Artistic Director of the dreaming BIG series at Eudlo.

Guest professional musicians Michele Walsh and Patricia Pollett are travelling from Brisbane especially at the invite of Artistic Director Louise King to perform for one night only in Eudlo. “Musicians simply love playing great music with inspiring musicians for audiences who care,” says Artistic Director Louise King. “Expect to be up close and personal as the audience are seated close to the performers for this chamber music concert. We love to meet people after the performance. We share a passion for chamber music and love playing to an appreciative audience. I am excited to bring these stunning, high profile guest artists to Eudlo as part of the dreaming BIG series and with a bonus Youth Music Workshop for the community on Sunday 12 October – perfect for any local aspiring young musician or school group. A great opportunity to learn from great master musicians and teachers.”
