Summersong Music Camp

Alison Pearl presents the 19th annual Summersong Music Camp from January 14-20th, 2019 in Tyalgum, in northern NSW! This is Australia’s premier adult holiday music camp, set in a beautifully secluded nature-laden setting with panoramic views, waterfalls, rainforests and a working farm. This unique weeklong adventure places music as the means to connect us to our creative selves, our sense of community, and our experience of celebration. All levels of experience are welcome! All ages from 18 on up are welcome! Summersong has created lifelong unions, songwriting groups nationwide, countless friendships, and musical careers around the globe.

This year’s faculty welcomes Hat Fitz and Cara, Tony Backhouse (NZ), Sarah Koppen, Shelley Brown, Tim Bennett, Melissa Main and Kathryn Riding. They’ll be teaching daily classes in Songwriting, several levels and styles of Guitar, Bass, recording techniques, Band Lab, Movement/Impro, beatboxing, performing skills; evenings offer up all camp jams, concerts by faculty and students, ceremony/party, acoustic cafes, song circles and surprises.

There’s beautiful shaded spaces for camping, or dorm accommodation with en suite facilities. Summersong is fully catered so all can simply play as much music as they want, without a mundane care in the world.
